Gilroy DGC

The "Gilroy DGC" project is an exciting initiative aimed at introducing a full-size disc golf course to the vibrant city of Gilroy, California. This project aims to create a community-oriented, accessible, and cost-effective disc golf course that will benefit residents and visitors alike.

01

Introduction

We are consistently building support for the Gilroy Disc Golf Course in the community and with city government. This happens through public speaking opportunities at city council meetings like the one here. This was not the first or last time that we brought this up to city council and we hope that yours will be the next voice heard!

02

Course Development

The Gilroy course will involve the design and installation of a 27-hole disc golf course, catering to players of all skill levels. The development process will prioritize cost-effective alternatives for course elements such as tee pads, ensuring a sustainable and community-driven recreational asset for Gilroy, California.

Budget & Sponsorship

The budget for the Gilroy DGC has been meticulously crafted to be cost-conscious, with an estimated initial cost ranging from $3,100 to $10,800. This presents a unique opportunity for local businesses to sponsor the course, not only as a means of community engagement but also as a way to promote their brand to a diverse audience of both locals and visiting disc golf enthusiasts.

04

Implementation

The successful implementation of this project in the future will depend on the collaboration of local volunteers, businesses, and the community, ensuring the course's accessibility and maintenance. Once completed, the disc golf course will serve as a dynamic and eco-conscious recreational destination, enriching the outdoor experience in Gilroy for years to come.
